Nova is coming into this game with a 4 game winning streak after a victory over DePaul on Saturday. The streak started in late December when they beat Xavier by 13 @ home. Xavier has played one game since their loss @ Nova, they handled Butler easily on the road 87-72. The Xavier Musketeers have won all 9 games at home this year and are 7-2 ATS at home. On the other hand, Nova is 4-0 ATS L4 games but 0-4 ATS L4 games as an underdog. Xavier being favored in this game really tells us the story of the Big East, IT IS TOUGH TO TRAVEL.
In their first matchup, Xavier's demise was due to costly turnovers. I think Xavier being at home this time around will calm some of their nerves and make is easier for them to take care of the ball. The wildcats are just 179th in the nation this year in 2-point percentage while the Xavier defense is 36th in adjusted efficiency. Xavier has no problem scoring the ball as well as they are 20th in the country in adjusted offensive efficiency. The key to this game is going to be turnovers. Xavier turns it over 20% of their possessions and Nova is one of the best at making teams turn it over. As I said earlier though, I think the home court advantage in an electric atmosphere will help calm some nerves.
Xavier has 4 guys over 6'9" that play the majority of minutes while Nova doesn't have a single player over 6"9". Recently Xavier has been making a living on the offensive glass and I see that trend continuing tonight.
Free Pick: Xavier -1

I was born with a condition called fibular hemimelia and had my left leg amputated at 4 months old (hence the name PegLeg). Growing up I played baseball, basketball, and golf competitively at a very high level. After graduating high school, I decided to stay in state and play D1 golf at Washington State University (GO COUGS!). I've always been a huge sports fan and sports watcher since I was very little and decided it was time to put all those hours of watching sports and all the knowledge i've gained to good use. As for capping, I've been handicapping most sports for about 2 years. I started taking it seriously a in October 2021 and boy am I glad that I did. My main sports are CBB, NFL, NBA, CFB, and occasionally UFC. The majority of my picks are College Basketball plays but I do put out plays for EVERY primetime NFL game (incl. playoffs). The majority of my plays are 1U and 2U which are all FREE. 3U Max plays and 5U max whale plays are the only paid service I offer and are usually only on CBB games. 3U Max plays: 6-1 this CBB season. $20 per play, money back guaranteed if the play doesn't cash. 5U Max Whale plays: 1-0 this CBB season. $50 per play, money back guaranteed if the play doesn't cash. Hope all of you tail my plays for some FREE CASH! Click here to view my documented results and access plans.
