Pacific at California Free Pick

We are taking a look at a clash of two Nor Cal teams as University of Pacific travels to play Cal. Cal is led by big man Andre Kelly at 15/9 per game. He’s a handful inside, and he’s formerly FROM Stockton, where Pacific is located! Pacific led by Luke Avdalovic and Jeremiah Bailey, averaging ~11 ppg each.

Neither of these teams are very good, but to me this is a game I LOVE for Cal. When you look at Pacific, they are 2-8 ATS in last 10. This team has THREE D1 wins, but 2 of them are to Chicago st and UAPB, two of the worst teams in the country. They’ve also lost TWICE to UCD. UCD is below average they even lost to D2 teams (Academy of Arts). Let’s also note Pacific has lost NINE in a row as away team underdog, and 3-7 ATS as away underdog. Lastly, look at their head coach. Leonard Perry was 48-97 in 5 years at Idaho st. We have to wonder- can he really coach??

On the other hand, we have Cal. They are at home, ranked 131 off eff ( compared to UOP at 251). They aren’t great, but way better than previous recent years! They are 8-2 ATS in last 10. They are 7-3 ATS both as home team, AND as home team favorite.

In Pacific's most recent game, UCD shot 58% while on the road! What will Cal do!? I’m anticipating them easily covering this 8.5 spread. I think Andre Kelly plays with a chip on his shoulder and Cal runs away with a blowout.
